Check-in and accommodation at your hotel.

2:00 to 6:00 pm: Walking tour of "La Villa de Los Caballeros de San Juan de Girón," including a visit to the main park, the Minor Basilica, Peralta Park, the limestone bridges, the small square and Chapel of Las Nieves, and the tourist boardwalk.

4:00 pm: Traditional afternoon snacks at "La Casona" restaurant, where you will enjoy "Vino o Sabajón," hot chocolate, bread, cheese, shortbread, cookies, pandebono, and dessert.

Experiential visit to the tobacco factory: there you can observe the production of cigars from raw material to finished cigar. Roll your own cigar.

7:00 pm: Dinner at a local restaurant in Girón and overnight stay.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.

9:00 am: Transfer from Girón to Barichara. Approximate travel time: 3 hours and 30 minutes.

2:00 to 4:00 pm: Walking tour of Barichara: A guided walk through Barichara, "Colombia's most beautiful town," is known for its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. During the tour, you will visit the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the Santa Bárbara Chapel, the cemetery, the Jorge Delgado Sierra Arts Park, an open-air museum where you can see more than 20 stone sculptures carved by regional and international artists, and the paper and natural fibers workshop.

4:30 pm to 6:00 pm: Earth Painting or Mini Tapial (Adobe Clay) Workshop

Earth Painting:

To paint and take home a painting made of your own using Santander's colored clays, you don't have to be an artist. Simply let yourself be carried away by the magic of Barichara and paint your painting with clays from the region. For added inspiration, enjoy a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, or tea. This inclusive experience is recommended for families with children and couples.

Activity Location: Casa Taller de La Tierra. Estimated Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes on average.

Miniature Tapia Pisada (Adobe Clay) Workshop:

Tourists have the experience of building a guided tapia pisada (Adobe Clay) wall, the technique used to build Barichara. Relax, no sweat, no effort. This activity is small-scale and takes place in the comfort of the Casa Taller, accompanied by a glass of wine, tea, or coffee. At the end, you'll take your miniature rammed earth wall with you.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel.

7:00 am trekking from Barichara to Guane. Hiking duration: approximately 2.5 hours.

In Guane, the "Ancient Indigenous Settlement," visitors will find tourist attractions such as the "Santa Lucia de Mucuruba" church and the Isaías Ardila Díaz Archaeological and Paleontological Museum. Here, visitors can see marine fossils, colonial books, and antiques.

2:00 pm Transfer to the third heritage town in the El Socorro department, "Communal Capital of Santander" and "Colombian Heritage Town." Guided walking tour of its spacious mansions, which are pages of history, rebellion, and freedom. The entire historical relic that makes up the old part of the town has been declared a National Monument. Entrance to the Horacio Rodríguez Plata House of Culture, which combines colonial and republican architectural styles.
