Start in Istanbul, the city between continents, exploring bazaars and sailing the Bosphorus. Continue to Ankara and delve into magical Cappadocia, with its lunar landscapes and underground cities.

Marvel at the limestone waterfalls of Pamukkale before exploring the Greco-Roman ruins of Ephesus. Finally, visit the legendary sites of Pergamon and mythical Troy for a complete immersion in the history and unique landscapes of Anatolia.

Visiting

Day 1 - Arrival in Istanbul

Arrival and assistance. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel (check-in time 2:00 PM).

Day 2 - Istanbul

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure to see the ancient walls of Constantinople, visit to the Rüstem Pasha Mosque. The mosque was designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan for Grand Vizier Damat Rüstem Pasha (husband of one of Suleiman the Magnificent's daughters, Sultana Mihrimah). Visit the Egyptian Bazaar or Spice Bazaar, built in the 17th century and located in the historic old quarter of Eminönü in Istanbul. Then there is the option of taking an optional excursion, “PEARLS OF ISTANBUL.” Return to the hotel at the customer's expense.

OPTIONAL TOUR: PEARLS

We continue by boat for a tour of the Bosphorus (regular boat) along the Sea of Marmara on both sides of the city: Asian and European. During this tour, you will see monuments such as: Dolmabahce Palace, Çiragan Palace, Rumeli Hisarı Fortress, among others... Disembark and continue with a visit to Beylerbeyi Palace, built in white marble by Sultan Abdulaziz in the 19th century, which served as a summer residence for subsequent sultans and a guest house for foreign dignitaries. Lunch. Ascent to Çamlica Hill, known as Lovers' Hill, which offers a majestic panoramic view of the Bosphorus and Istanbul. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 - Istanbul - Ankara

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the Grand Bazaar (closed on Sundays and religious holidays), a building that houses more than 4,000 shops inside. Free time and departure by coach to Ankara, passing over the Intercontinental Bridge in Istanbul. Arrival in the country's capital. Visit to the capital of Turkey with the Ataturk Mausoleum, dedicated to the founder of the Turkish Republic. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Cappadocia via the salt lake. On the way, visit the underground city of Ozkonak or Sehatlı, çardak built by Christian communities to protect themselves from Arab attacks. The underground city preserves stables, common rooms, meeting rooms, and small rooms for families. Arrival at the hotel in Cappadocia. Visit to a pottery and carpet workshop. Free afternoon (possibility of a beautiful safari in Cappadocia in a 4x4). Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

OPTIONAL HOT AIR BALLOON EXCURSION

At dawn, possibility of participating in an optional hot air balloon excursion, a unique experience, flying over the rock formations, fairy chimneys, natural formations, and moon-like landscapes.


Breakfast at the hotel. Day dedicated to visiting this fantastic region, unique in the world: Göreme Valley, with its rock-cut churches featuring paintings from the 10th and 11th centuries; visit to the troglodyte village of Uçhisar, the Love Valley, Devrent Valley (with its curious natural formations), Avcilar Valley or Hunters Valley, Pigeon Valley, and time for artisan workshops (like onyx and semi-precious stones).

In the evening, an optional excursion is offered to attend a Show of typical regional dances. Return to and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6 - Cappadocia - Pamukkale

Breakfast and departure toward Pamukkale. We will visit a Kervansaray before continuing to Pamukkale, where you'll have free time at the "Cotton Castle," unique in the world for its thermal pools of calcareous origin and petrified waterfalls. Hierapolis is one of Anatolia's great archaeological sites, which, together with the attraction of the cotton pools, makes the location a point of great interest.

Currently, Pamukkale is situated right next to the Ancient City of Hierapolis. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is recognized as one of the world's most relevant and attractive tourist centers. The city of Pamukkale gets its name, which means "Cotton Castle," from the white layers of limestone formations. Hierapolis is also called the "Sacred City" due to its numerous temples and religious buildings. The beauty of the white stones (travertines) covering all the natural pools, formed by thermal water, will undoubtedly captivate us.

Brief visit to an outlet store. Afterward, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 7 - Pamukkale - Ephesus - Izmir or Kusadasi
Day 7 - Pamukkale - Ephesus - Izmir or Kusadasi

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for a visit to the ruins of Ephesus, the fifth largest city of the Roman era. During our visit, we will appreciate the famous Celsus Library (second only to Alexandria), the theater, and some Roman and Hellenic temples, the Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Agora, the Marble Street, and the Theater.

Next, we will visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where it is believed Mary arrived in Ephesus with Saint John and lived until her Assumption (according to Catholic doctrine) or Dormition (according to Orthodox beliefs). As this house is a place of pilgrimage, it is visited by numerous Christian tourists throughout the year.

In the afternoon, we will stop at a leather production center. As Ephesus has been a tannery center since ancient times, we will have the opportunity to purchase some leather garments at a reasonable price. We will also see a fashion show exhibiting some of the country's most elegant jackets. Afterward, proceed to your hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 8 - Izmir or Kusadasi - Pergamum - Troy - Çanakkale

Breakfast and departure toward the ancient city of Pergamum, one of the cultural, commercial, and medical centers of the past. Visit the famous Asclepion, which was considered one of the most important health centers of its era. The Asclepion, built for the god of health and physicians, Asclepius, is also known as the first psychiatric hospital. Medical research was conducted here, and various treatment methods were applied.

Continue on to Çanakkale to visit Troy, the ancient city that evokes the poetic name: Homer's Iliad. Continue to Çanakkale. Arrival, dinner, and accommodation.
